About the format

“So denken die Fans — Das Fußball-Barometer” (What fans think — the Football Barometer) is the weekly format on Sky Sport News that systematically measures what football fans in Germany really think. Every Wednesday at 18:30 — live and on demand at skysport.de.
Every episode is based on representative surveys of at least 1,000 football fans in Germany, conducted by the sports business research firm ONE8Y. Hendrik Fischer, CEO of ONE8Y, presents the results together with Sky reporter legend Uli Köhler — and explains what the figures mean for German football.
The format launched at EURO 2024 as “Das Deutschland-Barometer” (the Germany Barometer) and has run as a fixed weekly format since the 2024/25 Bundesliga season. This makes ONE8Y the only research provider with its own weekly TV format on German television.
