How do you evaluate the Potential Analysis System (PotAS) in German top-level sports? PotAS is the basis for the evaluation for funding from the Federal Ministry of the Interior. PotAS determines the respective amount of funding to the sports federations. Sports federations with a higher potential (for titles/medals) receive higher funding. PotAS has not certified any potential for the German Basketball Federation in advance.
