Change of interest in the LIQUI MOLY Handball Bundesliga over the past three years (Status: Feb/2023)
The chart documents self-reported changes in interest in the LIQUI MOLY Handball Bundesliga over the preceding three years, surveyed in Germany in February 2023. Respondents were asked whether their interest had increased, remained the same, or decreased. Results are broken down by gender and age group — specifically 16–24-year-olds and adults aged 50 and above.
Across all handball-interested respondents, 35% report increased interest, while 61% say it remained the same. The decreased share stands at 4%. Gender differences are minimal: male and female respondents both show 35% and 34% for increased interest respectively. The age breakdown produces a wider spread. Among 16–24-year-olds, 48% report growing interest — the highest value across all subgroups. Among best agers (50+), that share falls to 27%, while 69% of this group report unchanged interest. The decreased-interest share reaches 12% among young respondents, compared to 3% among best agers.
