The chart documents how sport-interested Germans who are aware of REWE's "Scheine für Vereine" campaign rate REWE as an initiator of association campaigns compared to other supermarkets (survey date: June 2025). The five response categories range from REWE doing more than competitors to competitors doing more than REWE.
65% of respondents say REWE does more in this area than other supermarkets. A further 18% consider the engagement of other supermarkets to be roughly equal. Only 3% rate other supermarkets as more active than REWE in association campaigns. The combined share of those perceiving no discernible differences or giving no assessment stands at 14% — split evenly at 7% each. Taken together, those attributing equal or greater effort to competitors account for 21%, while those attributing greater effort to REWE account for 65%.
