Support for the appointment of a woman to the DFB "task force"
The chart documents the level of support among soccer-interested respondents in Germany (February 2023) for including a woman on the DFB task force — a four-member expert group formed to help reposition the German Football Association and the men's national team. Respondents answered on a four-point scale ranging from "in any case" to "no way."
A combined 75% of respondents express support: 39% say "in any case" and 36% say "rather yes." The rejecting positions are considerably smaller. "Rather no" accounts for 11%, while "no way" is recorded at 4%. Together, the two rejecting categories sum to 15%. A share of 9% gives no indication. The "in any case" response alone at 39% outpaces the combined rejecting share of 15% by more than two to one.
