Advocacy for the support of diversity-promoting associations
The chart documents attitudes among people interested in sports toward corporate support for sports clubs and teams that actively promote diversity and counter discrimination. Respondents were asked whether companies should be more likely to support such organizations. The data reflect a single survey wave from February 2023.
A combined 78% of sports-interested respondents answered affirmatively: 37% chose "fully yes" and 41% chose "rather yes." The rejecting share is comparatively small — 7% answered "rather no" and 4% answered "not at all," adding up to 11% in total. A further 10% gave no specified answer. The share expressing unqualified support at 37% exceeds the outright rejecting share of 7% by a factor of more than five. Qualified approval at 41% represents the single largest individual response category across all options.
