Agreement with selected statements on the topic of diversity in companies
The chart documents agreement with four statements on the role of diversity in corporate environments among sports-interested respondents in Germany (February 2023). Agreement is measured across four response categories, from "fully agree" to "do not agree at all."
Across all four statements, combined agreement ("fully agree" + "rather agree") exceeds 75%. The statement linking a diverse environment to employee retention and recruitment draws the highest share of "fully agree" responses at 41%, with an additional 39% selecting "rather agree." The statement on flexibility and market responsiveness follows at 38% "fully agree" and 42% "rather agree." The statement on employee performance, motivation, and innovation registers 37% and 42% respectively. The statement on personal application behavior — expressing a preference for tolerant and open employers — shows the lowest "fully agree" share at 32%, though its "rather agree" share is the highest across all four statements at 45%.
