Credibility of diversity campaigns in sport
The survey documents how sports-interested respondents in Germany (February 2023) assess the credibility of diversity campaigns in sport. Respondents rated credibility on a four-point scale, ranging from "very large" to "very low".
A combined 73% of sports-interested respondents assign large credibility to diversity campaigns in sport — 51% rate it as "rather large" and 22% as "very large". The "rather large" category alone accounts for the majority of all responses. On the lower end of the scale, 18% rate credibility as "rather low" and 9% as "very low", adding up to 27% across both negative categories. The gap between the two positive categories is 29 percentage points, with "rather large" at 51% outweighing "very large" at 22% by more than double. The share rating credibility as "very low" stands at 9%.
