Assessment of the attractiveness of American-sounding event titles for younger target groups
The survey documents how sports-interested respondents assess whether American-sounding event titles hold greater appeal for younger target groups. The question captures a single perception dimension without further demographic subgroups in the published breakdown (survey date: July 2025).
A clear majority of 63% answer "yes" — they believe American-sounding event titles are more attractive to younger audiences. The rejecting share stands at 23%, roughly one-third the size of the affirming group. The remaining 14% indicate no clear position. The gap between the "yes" and "no" responses amounts to 40 percentage points. Undecided respondents at 14% form the smallest of the three groups, sitting well below both the affirming and rejecting shares. The "no" share at 23% and the "don't know" share at 14% together account for 37% of all responses, compared to 63% for the affirming position.
